With hunger rampant in Lebanese homes, Empower Lebanon is stepping up

With the collapse of Lebanon’s economy and currency, more and more Lebanese are going hungry every day. Families all over the country cannot make ends meet, pay essential bills, and, tragically, put food on the table. To address this need, I’m proud to announce Empower Lebanon’s new campaign to provide food to 700 vulnerable families across the country.

The statistics out of Lebanon are shocking. Nearly half of households are foregoing adequate quantities of food so that their children have enough to eat. Recent World Food Programme data found that 55% of homes are experiencing food shortages.

Partnering with Lebanese Food Bank, one of Lebanon’s most capable aid organizations, Empower Lebanon will organize multiple distributions in hard-hit areas, ensuring assistance goes to those who need it most.

A $36 food parcel will help sustain families on the brink of poverty. Our goal is to raise $25,000 to support 700 families across the country. Please donate today, with the knowledge that your donation will directly impact the life of a Lebanese family in need. Just a $36 donation will make a big difference for that family.

Donate to support Lebanese families

As an organization, Empower Lebanon is proud to stand with men and women in uniform who serve their country, both in America and in Lebanon. In recognition of this commitment and the hardships currently being felt by Lebanese military families, this project will allocate 20% of the parcels for the most vulnerable military families, many of whom have sacrificed so much during this crisis.

Please show your support for the people of Lebanon through the crisis by donating today.
